Overview
The Bai Deng Trials is a solo instanced dungeon challenge featuring multiple dungeon types and difficulties.
Each run is timed and must be completed before the timer expires.
The Bai Deng Trials currently feature 9 trials of increasing difficulty, with additional Infernal ranks planned following the release of the "Guilin Peaks Campaign" scheduled for approximately September 2026.

Additional Rules
- You cannot already be inside another dungeon
- You must possess the appropriate Bai Deng Trial Scroll
- Old Scrolls can be obtained in Great So Hwasan and upgraded at Dark Lord Twan
Leaving Early
If you disconnect, teleport away, or leave the dungeon before completion:
- The current run is cancelled
- A new Trial Scroll will be required to enter again
How the Dungeon Works
Using a Bai Deng Trial Scroll will teleport you into your own private dungeon instance.
Objectives
- Defeat all enemies
- Defeat the final boss before time expires
Instance Rules
- Each dungeon instance is completely private
- Loot is picked up in bulk, similar to Hwasan Dungeon
Successful Completion
After defeating the boss:
- The dungeon is cleared automatically
- You will return to the safe zone shortly afterward
Trial Scroll Types
Using different materials, players may craft Trial Scrolls based on their preferred dungeon type and difficulty.
The crafted scroll determines:
- Dungeon Type
- Difficulty
- Rewards
Difficulty Tiers
- Normal
- Master
- Nightmare
Failed Attempt
If the timer expires before the boss is defeated:
- The run immediately ends
- Remaining enemies are removed
- You are returned to the safe zone
